The Science of Sleep
September 2006 sees the launch of Michel Gondry's The Science of Sleep. Although he first rose to acclaim as a director of award-winning music videos (serveral for bjork) and feature films, Gondry is also an immensely imaginative artist. He has created an exhibition to launch the film where The Science of Sleep movie sets are presented and elaborated on to be reconsidered as sculpture. A walk through the exhibition immerses the viewer in the sculptural experience of the movie in three dimensions.
